My name is Scott. This will be my second time filling this out. I forgot to save my entry last night. So here it goes again. I was born and raised in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. After earning my Bachelors and Masters Degree in Wisconsin, and starting to work professionally in Iowa, I am now living my 3rd year in Chicago.

Although I said, back in the day before going off to college, I want to live back in the Minneapolis, I am now loving Chicago. In fact, I almost feel that Chicago is a better city. Still a fan of my Twins, and Vikings but, also liking the Cubs!

I am currently working in higher education where I am a Resident Director and Director of Campus Recreation and Intramurals. I love what I am doing, but it certainly keeps me busy. It is a 9-5 job plus nights and weekends. Granted, I don't REALLY work those hours. It's just that I tend to work at any time of the day. Most weeks I work the standard 40 hours. Some weeks could be 50 hours and other weeks could be 30. All depends on the time of the year. In addition, there is a lot of my job that is "work" but it is also fun and games.

I'm a happy person. I know, they're hard to find these days. Hence why I'm on here. I am quick tongued and full of funny commentary but stick my foot in my mouth all the time. I'm super girly but won't spend more than 5 (okay 8 max) minutes on makeup and put off doing nails until they are an eyesore. I can seem bossy, but that is only because I like people that know how to stick up for themselves.

I am West Indian(from Trinidad to be exact} and I speak English and some Spanish. Right now I am looking for people to get to know as friends. I know that this doesn't matter if I put that there or not since most people won't even read this and expect me to talk to them. Point one is, if you read my profile, I will know and it will say a lot about your character if you did. So thanks in advance if you even got this far. I am not looking for a boyfriend. Even if I was, there is no way that I would or could start a serious relationship off of this thing. *bam, there's your boyfriend and you haven't even met him yet* I think not. I am picky when it comes to guys, but in a way, not picky at all. I don't like the guys that everyone else tends to like. I don't know why exactly, but it could have something to do with my allergy to boredom. I don't feel that I have to drink to have a good time, but every so often it is nice to let loose! I am pretty open minded. I accept all religions as long as you don't try to sell it to me. Girls can message me as well, since I am looking for friends.

I'm a pretty laid-back sort of guy that likes to get out and try new things. Nothing excites me more than variety; I don't really have favorites because I like to go to new places, try new foods, learn new things. That doesn't mean I don't have fondness for things that are already in my life. I don't like to throw away what I have just for the excitement of something new. I have great affection for the people in my life and I want to drag them out and share all of these new experiences with them and then go to the same old coffee shop and talk about them. I guess I am a former creature of habit, trying to break those old habits and experience the rest of my life.

I place high value on wit, opinion and a well formed argument. People who mix them well are to be admired. I like a spirited discussion and have frightened more than one neighboring table at a restaurant with a vigorous conversation about how to fix baseball or the intertwined history of funk and disco, or god forbid, politics...

I like things things indy: my music, my comics, my politics, my movies. I do succumb to the inexplicable and logic defying indy snobbery. You know the kind, where you really like something until it becomes popular and then you spend a week or 2 talking about how you were into it way back when it was cool and then proceed to dis it. I am torn between trying to overcome my indy snobbery and embracing it.

I'm a pretty laid back guy living in the city. Music is a big part of my life, When i have the time I like to blow glass, paint, snowboard, go to shows, pretty much hang out with my friends and have a good time. enjoying life and what it brings to me.

I would first like to tell you that I am in love with Rhonda (she is my car)she always takes care of me....takes me where I have to go ....keeps me safe from the elements....I know her so well that I always know what she needs....and I take care of those needs...and I know just what she likes!!! I have a lot of babies(my guitars)and play with them every day... I clean them when they are dirty and if they sound like they are crying ...I know just what to do to make them sing in key with thier pappa. I like the simple things in life that people often overlook that gives you those memories that are special only to you and who you share them with.I am not afraid of myself and what I believe in.I am honest with myself and am my worst critic and still believe that the world is flat.....isn't it ?

You know, it seems so easy to describe yourself in a few sentences; however, when you try it, it's actually pretty hard. But I'll give it a shot. I have a degree in marketing. I love movies. I think it's really annoying and pointless to put your interests in double brackets; if it's on the description part of the page than most likely you're interested in it-the double brackets are just overkill. I love going to bars and concerts. I guess I'm just a regular guy.

Well lets see here... I love hanging with my friends and going out doing random activities. I love to go out to watch a movies. i love to joke around its a lot of fun i can't help it.. i love dancing and looking like a fool haha its fun and it makes people laugh.. i work at a kids place and ya its always loud and there and is always stories to be told.. i go to school right now.. ya i hate it and hate hw but it happens and i love to hang out party you know..

i like music, i paint and doodle and knit, i read i love sports, swimming diving badminton ultimet frisbee horse fore square all of them. i do happen to watch tv usualy its something on the histroy chanal commedy central. i'm quiet until you get to know me. and i like who i am as a person.

This is me. apparently i'm being forced to write this summary now. I'm a recent graduate of and undergrad photography program. I listen to and make music. I'm interested in all forms of art. Learning, reading, watching tv, video games, weed, and uhhh yeah i dunno

I am a very open person and whether its hanging out at a baseball game, a night out on the town, or spending the weekend on the couch, my friends and I always manage to have a little adventure. I am kind of a girl next door type that always manages to surprise people.

I am a divored, live in Oak Park and work on the southside near 47th and Ashland. In my spare time I enjoy remodeling my house, working on my car, hanging out at Borders, seeing movies or window shopping.

I have thoughtful opinions, I care about others and am willing to help out when I can, I love a good laugh, and I'm drama-free. My job at a not-for-profit is demanding, and I enjoy how different it is from my former job in corporate management.

i like dark beer and chicken wings, both individually and together. i also like pineapple, sneakers, travel and "the classics".

i write and paint... sometimes a lot and sometimes not so much.

i love the baltimore orioles! i root for the ravens but am still trying to learn about football. i grew up in the "no football in baltimore" era after the colts were stolen and the ravens moved to town.

music consumes me.

I like science fiction, dogs, books, tv, and chocolate. I enjoy going to thrift stores and antique shops, even if I don't end up buying anything.
I like a pretty wide variety of music, depending on my mood I'll listen to anything from Sarah McLachlan to Metallica. I'm interested in history, medical curiosities, and abandoned buildings. I like vampires, but I hate "Twilight."
My favorite TV shows include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Office, Glee, Doctor Who, and Lost.
Like many people, I am shy when I first meet new people but open up after I get to know you.

My interests lay somewhere between the arts and music and in the spaces in between the colors and the notes. For my job, I have to create and contemplate visual art with children and in my free time, I unwind by seeing music, poetry shows, comedy or other non-sports entertainment. I enjoy meeting different types of people and cultures and I like being exposed to new things. In the summer, you will find me bicycling, walking and visiting nature centers, working on some drawing or something or other. My friends mean the world to me, and are as important to me as my family.
